  • Loss Prevention Officer
    Our Loss Prevention Officers are responsible for the detection, apprehension or deterrence of Customer and Associate activity that would otherwise result in a loss to company assets.

    Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in monitoring compliance to company policies and procedures
  • Assist in promoting safety and inventory control
  • Promote awareness and training
  • Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    Loss Prevention Supervisor
    The Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for the development and implementation of theft prevention and shortage programs.

    Loss Prevention Supervisors have strong written and verbal communication skills that allow them to develop partnerships with Store Executives and Associates to identify and address shortage-causing issues. They are also responsible for the direct supervision and training of Loss Prevention Officers.

    Loss Prevention Officer - Distribution Center
    Loss Prevention Officers are responsible for:

  • Investigating and detecting possible Associate and vendor loss activity
  • Assisting in implementing and maintaining loss prevention awareness programs
  • Implementing inventory control and safety programs
  • Conducting operation and quality control audits
  • Candidates must have strong communication skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    District Auditor
    Our District Auditors work to:

  • Audit for compliance to company policies and procedures
  • Use audit results to direct efforts toward further training and development of others
  • Loss Prevention Manager
    The Loss Prevention Manager works to identify and correct loss-related risks to the company involving theft, safety, inventory control and operational compliance. These managers also work to:

  • Maintain direct ownership of loss-related risks for 1-2 locations
  • Actively participate in the hiring and training of Loss Prevention Associates
  • District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM)
    The District Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for:

  • Identify shortage causes
  • Developing and executing reduction plans
  • Recruiting, training and developing Store Loss Prevention Associates
  • Developing partnerships to heighten awareness to shortage causes
  • Developing safety awareness and operational execution
  • Regional Loss Prevention Manager
    Kohl's Regional Loss Prevention Managers are directly responsible for:

  • Several District Loss Prevention Managers
  • Overseeing the execution of shortage reduction plans and inventory control
  • Overseeing safety and operational compliance
  • Building partnerships and supporting company sales objectives
