Architecture and Planning
Enterprise Architecture and Planning is on the leading edge, driving strategic initiatives to help align IS with the business. The focus is on continuous improvement of the IS development, operations and support teams. We look for individuals who have major retail architecture experience and possess vision, creativity and a solid IS retail strategy background.
Project Management
The Project Management Office and Development/Operations Managers drive the business forward by providing leadership and applying consistent standards and processes when running mission-critical projects. The Project Management team looks for individuals who have extensive expertise with System Development Life Cycles, experience managing small to large projects and utilizing formal project management methodologies, and who possess a solid understanding of the relationship between business procedures.
Application Delivery
Application Delivery teams define business processes and work with a myriad of technologies including the latest Enterprise Service Bus, Web Services, J2EE and .NET to COBOL in an MVS environment. Development processes are continually refined to increase development speed, provide long-term system stability and improve business flexibility. Our development and support teams look for individuals who possess experience in professional programming, analytics, business process development and integration.
Operations
Operations teams thrive in the complexity of managing and tuning servers and networks. Operational excellence and high availability are at the core of our retail enterprise. The IS Operations team interacts with Architecture, Project Management and Application Delivery to provide first-level support, monitor daily business operations and execute system improvements. Our teams look to add individuals who have experience with Windows Desktop and Servers, Database Administration, Application Servers, Networking, Telecomm, Unix, Linux, MVS systems in an operations or development environment, as well as experience with systems technical support. Team members also have the ability to communicate to nontechnical clients and take an analytical approach in identifying and resolving issues.
