The Advertising and Marketing Department of Kohl's issues millions of circulars every week and creates many broadcast spots every year. They're specialists in sleuthing out the needs and expectations of our customers, and they work closely with our buyers to make sure we provide the right products for our customers' diverse lifestyles and interests.
Day-to-day, these market-minded Associates work on campaigns that use every medium — including television, radio, newspaper and the Internet — to create a solid Kohl's brand image.
Direct Marketing is responsible for the creation, development and execution of all marketing for Kohl's Charge Cards, including our Most Valued Customer (MVC) program (a loyalty program for our best cardholders who charge $600 or more annually). As part of this program, Credit Marketing publishes the quarterly MVC NOW newsletter which keeps our MVCs informed of fashion news, lifestyle tips, Kohl's charitable efforts and special offers. Additionally, Credit Marketing executes 12 special savings events via direct mail for all Kohl's charge customers. And that's not all. Credit Marketing also manages all of the company's stored-value card operations, like our retail gift cards, corporate gift card sales and fundraising cards.
Plus, Advertising and Marketing work to ensure strong public relations between Kohl's and our surrounding communities, through programs like Kohl's Cares for Kids®.
